It all started with a swipe right on Bumble.

Arielle opened with a simple “hey hey” and Justin being Justin, took it from there. When it came time for their first date, Justin suggested something sweet and romantic: seeing the cherry blossoms in Washington, D.C. But Arielle had a different idea.

“How about we watch the University of Arizona march madness game at a sports bar?”

Probably the first time in history that the guy suggested the Cherry Blossom Festival and the girl suggested a sports bar.

Thankfully, Justin said yes.

What started as an unconventional first date quickly turned into something special. Their relationship blossomed, much like the cherry blossoms Justin originally wanted to see. But unlike the blossoms that appear for only a short season each year, Arielle and Justin’s love has continued to grow stronger every single day.

Two years later, they’re trading D.C.’s cherry blossoms for a Maui sunset as they say “I do.” We are so excited to celebrate this next chapter surrounded by the people we love most.
